Badhan Transfusion Centre (BTC), presently a concern of Badhan Foundation, was officially inaugurated on September 02, 2006 as an experimental transfusion centre with the financial support from SpaandanB, USA. The major causes behind starting such a centre was to get hazardless service for the voluntary Blood Donors, to save their valuable time as well as to provide private standard services to the patients with a government standard cost or even lower.

Though BTC is still running with its experimental phase, it provides services to the poor patients sometimes even with free of cost. Increasing heavy traffic of Dhaka City area now bounds us to come out from the experimental phase to a complete transfusion centre.
