Mr. Rakib Ahmed is one of the pioneer of BADHAN, A Voluntary Blood Donors' Organization (http://badhan.org/). He was born in Sirajganj district in 1974. He completed his Secondary School Certificate from Shahzadpur Pilot High School, Shahzadpur,Sirajgon and Higher Secondary School Certificate from Rajshahi College, Rajshahi. Then he got himself admitted into University of Dhaka. From there he obtained his Bachelor of Science (Biochemistry) and Master of Science (Biochemistry) degree. Mr Ahmed also obtained MBA (Major in Marketing) from University of Development Alternative.

Mr. Ahmed is happily married and he has one son. He is directly involved with differnt social and profesion organization. He has visited not only 64 distritcs of Bangladesh but also differnt countries of the world i.e: USA, Canada, Australia, Netherlands, France, Singapore, UAE,China, Indonesia, Malaysia.

Mr. Rakib Ahmed is the chairman of Biovista Bangladesh Ltd. He has also strong affiliation with following organization:

- Chairman, Liberty Foundation.

- Chairman & Director, Liberty School & College, Banosree, Dhaka.

- General Secretary, Graduate Biochemists Association (GBA).

-Joint Secretary, Bangladesh Society for Biochemistry & Molecular Biology (BSBMB).
