A seminar on “Safe Blood Transfusion in Bangladesh and Role of Badhan Transfusion Center” was held under the auspices of Badhan Foundation on October 25, 2019 at R. I. Khan auditorium of Dhaka University (DU). DU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman inaugurated the seminar as chief guest.

Founder and President of Badhan Foundation Shahidul Islam Ripon presided over the program while Director of Dhaka Medical College Hospital Brigadier General AKM Nasir Uddin and National Co-ordinator of Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery Dr. Samanta Lal Sen addressed it as special guests. Consultant of Badhan Transfusion Center Prof. Dr. Munshi M Habibullah delivered the keynote paper in this seminar.
